This is a group for dads with young kids who attend St. Ann's. Our purpose is to have fellowship with other Catholic dads and encourage each other to be faithful men of God. We meet once a month, typically on the 4th Monday at 6 p.m. in different locations. This month, we are meeting at St. Ann's at 6 p.m. for 15 minutes of Adoration. Afterwards, we will head to Palace Coffee to hang out and play card games. Hope to see you there!
Parishioners and friends of St. Ann's can now make one-time or recurring gifts directly on our parish website. It's simple and secure. You can even turn your tithe into an automatic gift that gives when and how often you'd like with your own online donor account. Visit stannsofcanyon.org/give to see how easy it is!
Offering one's gifts as a liturgical minister is a singularly excellent way to give of oneself to the parish family. If you currently are or want to become an Altar Server or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, you must attend one of the corresponding update/training sessions. All sessions will be held in the church. Altar Servers: Sunday, Feb. 9, 4-5 p.m. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: Wednesday, Feb. 12, 7:30-8:30 p.m. Please remember that liturgical ministers must be registered members of St. Ann's, active and participating Catholics, and living according to the moral teachings of the Church, including the marriage and intimacy teachings of the Church.
St. Ann's is forming a team of various coupls who will accompany engaged couples as sponsor couples in the preparation process of being married in the Catholic Church. You don't have to have a perfect marriage (no one does!). Only an esteem for the sacrament of marriage and a heart for couples who can benefit from your experience are required. Training in a Catholic marriage preparation curriculum will be provided. St. Ann's is blessed with many young people. The need is here, and the Spirit is calling. Please email Fr. Scott before the end of January if you're willing to learn more: frscott@stannsofcanyon.org.
