This Wednesday, intermediate/middle school and high school students will meet at the WTAMU Activities Center at 6 p.m. for an evening of fun! There is no Mass and Meal this week. Intermediate/middle school students will be swimming, while high school students will bowl and play basketball. Please bring the appropriate attire for your activity, and your AC card if you have one. If not, the church will cover your fee. Please arrange to have your parents pick you up at 8 p.m. at the Activities Center.
This weekend marks the end of the liturgical Christmas season. So on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. we need some help taking down and storing all of the Christmas decorations in the church (except for the Nativity scene, which will remain in place through the Feast of the Presentation of The Lord on February 2). Please join us as we return our worship space to "ordinary time mode." Thank you in advance for your help!
This Wednesday, after our Mass and meal, intermediate/middle school students will have a question and answer session with Fr. Busch (so come prepared with lots of questions about our Catholic faith, the life and ministry of priests, or whatever else you would like to ask our pastor!) and high school students will play glow-in-the-dark volleyball. We hope to see you there!
We are pleased to announce that Erica Knox will be the new youth director for St. Ann's. Erica brings a wealth of experience and background to this position. We are excited to have Erica as part of the parish staff!
We are now accepting donations (including cash) for raffle prizes for our Czech Sausage Dinner. Please contact Bruce or Sherri Hartman, this year's raffle chairs.
On Wednesday, January 6, the youth of our parish (grades 5-12) will celebrate the Christmas season with an Epiphany Party. Come join us as we “follow the star” to worship the Christ-child. The party begins in the parish hall immediately after the 6:00 p.m. Mass.
On Sunday, January 10, we will begin a new adult education class taught by Father Busch. This semester, we will embark on a study of "the historical Jesus." On January 10, 17, 24 and 31, we will examine the political, religious and social context into which Jesus was born and in which he lived. Please join us for this exciting opportunity to learn what historians and biblical scholars are uncovering about the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth. Audio recordings will be available soon!
