First Holy Communion is ordinarily celebrated in the spring of the second grade year in St. Ann's faith formation program. Students spend the entire year preparing for their first reconciliation and their First Eucharist. All students must also attend faith formation classes in their 1st grade year to be able to receive the sacrament in their second grade year.
Children in 3rd to 5th grade, who have not celebrated their first reconciliation and/or first Holy Communion, will generally be placed in the First Communion class (with their parents' permission) to prepare them to receive the sacrament. If your child is in 6th grade or above and has not received their first Holy Communion, please contact the parish office at (806) 655-3302.
